Prior to sending his disciples into the mission field, we read in Luke 10 that Jesus urged them to pray earnestly to the ‘Lord of the harvest’ to literally ‘throw’ workers into the harvest. It is his harvest and we are his workers. He wants to send us where he is going and it starts in prayer and it includes us!
